1. BHEL

Project: Creep test facility

Scope of work:  Facility to test and ascertain the safe operation of the boiler life time. This test is conducted in enhanced operating conditions until the tube ruptures. Life time assessment through empirical formula using the data recorded.

  • LCA is built with the State-of-the-art technology design and analysis tools and production facilities backed by ADA and other organisations like HAL.

Project: Foundry monitoring and recording system

Scope of work: To  monitor and control the temperature parameters of the foundry. Automatically registers the temperature profile and prints the data in real time.

3. ISRO 

  • DOS (Department of Space ) with main objective of space programme including development of satellites, launch vehicles, Sounding Rockets and associated ground systems.
  • Projects include series of satellites for tele-communication, television broadcasting, meteorology and disaster warning and Indian Remote Sensing applications.

Project: Environmental test facility

Scope of work: Data Acquisition systems for temperature, pressure and flow parameters. Useful for ground checkout and design verifications.

4. CPRI

  • A centre for applied research in electrical power engineering, assisting the electrical industry in product development and quality assurance.
  • An independent Government authority for testing and certification of power equipment.

Project: System for testing high-voltage capacitors and cables

Scope of work:  Data acquisition system for logging of electrical parameters and automatic test report generation.

6. IFB GROUP

IFB Industries Ltd was incorporated in 1974 in West Bengal. It manufactures fine blanking tools, press tools and fine blanked components used in a wide range of precision engineering industries.The company is also into the manufacture of auto ancillaries and domestic appliances.The Engineering divisions are located at Kolkata & Bangalore. The Bangalore unit, apart from Fine Blanked components, manufactures motors for White goods as well as Automotive applications.
IFB Industries has a collaboration with Heinrich Schmid,Switzerland, to manufacture fine blanking tools, blanked components and sub-assemblies. The company today has a second fine blanking factory at Bangalore and an ultra modern plant under subsidiary European Fine Blanking at Wrexham, Wales, UK. It has two joint venture subsidiaries -- RHW India and RHW Autoliv India,in collaboration with RHW, Germany and Electrolux, Sweden, to manufacture automotive seat recliners / seating systems and safety equipment.The Bangalore and Kolkatta units have been certified ISO 9001 and ISO 9002, respectively.

7.INDIA NIPPON ELECTRICAL LTD

INEL was established in 1985 as a joint venture between Lucas Indian Service, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lucas-TVS, India and Kokusan Denki Co. Ltd., Japan - a group company of Hitachi Japan, to manufacture Electronic Ignition Systems for two-wheelers, three wheelers and portable engines.INEL makes the entire range of 2/3 wheelers, digital and analog ignition products.Starting with a single establishment in Hosur (Tamilnadu), INEL has set up two more units, one at Pondicherry and one at Rewari (Haryana), with the objective of servicing customers on the JIT principle to enable them hold minimum inventory.Over the years INEL has successfully demonstrated its ability to adapt to changing business and technology needs of the customer by maintaining top level quality and customer service.

8. LPSC

Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), a space center of ISRO, Engaged in development of liquid and cryogenic propulsion stages for launch  vehicles and auxiliary propulsion systems for both launch vehicles and satellites.Activities related to liquid propulsion stages, cryogenic propulsion stages and control systems for launch vehicles and spacecraft at Thiruvananthapuram. Test facilities are located at Mahendragiri in Tamil Nadu. Precision fabrication facilities, development of transducers and integration of satellite propulsion systems are carried out at Bangalore.Achievements include development of liquid propellant stages for PSLV, control systems for SLV-3, ASLV, PSLV and GSLV, satellite propulsion systems including those for INSAT and IRS and production of pressure transducers.Cryogenic Upper Stage for GSLV under development.

9. HAL 

HAL has got 16 production units and 9 research and design centres spread out in seven different locations in India. Its product track record consists of 12 types of aircraft from in house R &D and 13 types by license production. HAL has so far produced over 3300 aircraft, 3400 Aeroengines and overhauled over 7700 aircraft and 26000 engines. HAL has engaged & succeeded in number of R & D programs for both the military and civil aviation sectors. Substantial progress has been made in the current projects like Dhruv -Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH), Tejas-Light Combat Aircraft (LCA), Intermediate Jet Trainer (IJT) and various military and civil upgrades. The deliveries of Dhruv were effected to Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard in March 2002, in its first year of production which is a unique achievement.HAL's supplies / services are mainly to Indian Defence Services, Coast Guard and Border Security Force.

10.BARC

A premier multi-disciplinary Nuclear Research Centre of India having excellent infrastructure for advanced Research and Development with expertise covering the entire spectrum of Nuclear Science and Engineering and related areas. BARC provides a broad spectrum of scientific and technological activities extending from basic laboratory bench scale research to scaled up plant level operations and its functional domain covers all walks of science and technology – stretching from classical school of thoughts to the emerging novel fields of interest. The core mandate of this institution is to provide Research and Development support required to sustain one of the major peaceful applications of nuclear energy viz. power generation.

11. REC

 

The Regional Engineering College, Warangal was established in 1959 and was the first in the chain of 17 RECs in the country. RECs are jointly sponsored by the Central Government and the Government of the State in which a given REC is located. The institute has full-fledged departments in engineering disciplines such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, Chemical, Metallurgical and Computer Science, basic sciences such as Mathematics & Humanities, Physics and Chemistry and one in Physical Education.

12. NSTL 

To cater to the needs of the Indian Navy, the Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL) was established on 20 August 1969 under DRDO, inside the Andhra University Campus at Visakhapatnam. It was shifted in 1975 to its present location and was housed in temporary sheds. The Laboratory is now located in 196 acres of land. Apart from the main building constructed in 1978, facilities like the Central Workshop, Torpedoe Engineering Block, High Speed Towing Tank, Computer Centre, Shock & Vibration Centre and a huge residential complex have come up during the 80s. NSTL got ISO 9001 for its Quality in Research and Development in Aug 22, 2000.

13. ROMAN LEAR, USA 

  • Roman Lear is an Space qualifying components manufacturer and supplier in USA.
  • They design critical components required for space applications.

Project: Brushless DC (BLDC) motor drive unit.

Scope of work: Design and supply of prototype unit of brushless DC motor drive. The compact drive unit is completely solid state power switching unit with MOSFET devices. A DSP solution is offered for the BLDC application. The drive with Electronic commutator was designed and tested for 12,000 RPM.

14. AUTOLIV, GERMANY 

  • Autoliv, Germany is one of the main supplier of safety devices for automotive industries. Their products includes emergency locking retractors (ELRs), airbags and testing systems.
  • Autoliv IFB is their subsidary unit in India manufacturing different models of ELRs.

Project: Crash test system

Scope of work: Crash test facility available at German was shifted to Bangalore with all electronics,  controls and other test bed instrumentation systems. The test facility was installed, tested and successfully commissioned at Bangalore. Our skills and resources are utilized in bringing up the world class test facility  at Bangalore.
